Signalment and History:

  • 14 year old QH gelding
  • Presented to WSU-VTH for a laceration over the point of the hock (left hind); laceration thought to happen 2 days prior
  • Grade 4/5 lame LH at the time of presentation (May)
  • Case includes:
    • Radiographs from May (time of initial injury)
    • Ultrasound from June due to progressive lameness
    • Ultrasound from August to evaluate draining tract
