Case 5
Signalment:
A 3 year old male castrate Golden Retriever
History:
A previously healthy patient was referred with a four day history of lethargy, anorexia and intermittent vomiting.
Physical Examination:
An increased respiratory rate and effort were noted. Lung sounds were decreased ventrally and heart sounds were muffled.
Laboratory Data:
CBC revealed a stress leukogram , thrombocytopenia and mild anemia. Biochemical and urinalysis were normal.
Available Study:
Left and right lateral and ventrodorsal thoracic radiographs and thoracic ultrasound images.
