  • Dr. Neal Mauldin, Chief Medical Officer - A pioneer in the field of veterinary radiation therapy, Dr. Mauldin has treated more than 2,000 pets with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) since 2010
  • Provides clinical oversight, remote treatment planning and review, and oversees research for facilities across the PetCure Oncology network
  • Triple-board certified veterinarian in the fields of internal medicine, medical oncology and radiation oncology
  • Attained board certification in veterinary radiation oncology the first year it was offered in 1994
  • Has practiced as a veterinary radiation oncologist for over 30 years, including clinical leadership positions at VCA Canada Western in Calgary, Canada, the Animal Medical Center in New York City, and Louisiana State University (associate professor, section head therapeutic radiology)
  • Has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications, written numerous textbook chapters, and presented invited scientific abstracts at over 40 national and international meetings pertaining to the specialty of veterinary oncology
  • Past president of the Veterinary Cancer Society
  • Training: Texas A&M University, Animal Medical Center (NYC), Memorial Sloan Kettering fellowship in radiation oncology
  • Pet parent to three rescued Shetland Sheepdogs (Charlotte, Jenna and Tuscan) and three horses (Briosa, Sarah and Webster)
  • Dr. Eric Boshoven - Oversees radiation oncology, provides consults, and treats patients at PetCure Oncology at Arizona Veterinary Oncology in Phoenix, AZ, which became PetCure’s first site in May 2015
  • Board-certified in veterinary radiation oncology
  • Has been the owner of Arizona Veterinary Oncology since 2014, when he moved back to his home state and purchased the Phoenix locations of what was formerly known as Southwest Veterinary Oncology
  • Previously practiced for 12 years at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates in Maryland, including three years as Medical Director and six years as Intern Director
  • Earned veterinary degree from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences before completing residency in radiation oncology at Southwest Veterinary Oncology in Tucson, AZ
  • A proud alumnus of the University of Arizona
  • Pet parent to two dogs, Captain Teague and Manny, two cats, Taz and Moo, and a macaw named Fester
