Guidelines for Use of the ACVR Mark

ACVR Mark

I. Purpose of ACVR Mark

The official ACVR Mark is a distinctive graphic symbol providing visual identification for official stationery and electronic documents of the organization.

II. The ACVR Mark is a registered trademark and shall be used according to these guidelines.

A. Stationery and electronic documents used as official correspondence of the American College of Veterinary Radiology are designated with the ACVR Mark in the upper left corner of the page followed by the words "American College of Veterinary Radiology". The stationery or electronic document should only be used for official College business. The stationery and electronic documents may be used by managerial and secretarial services under the direction of the ACVR Officers and Executive Council.

B. The ACVR Mark may be used by an ACVR Diplomate only for official college business.

C. The size of the ACVR Mark shall not be enlarged (approximate size is 1" in diameter) on stationery, as it is intended to be as small and professional as possible while still being easily readable. The ACVR Mark may be enlarged on electronic documents as long as it projects a professional appearance. If appropriate, clicking on the ACVR Mark in an electronic document should transfer you to the ACVR Web site.

D. Specific questions regarding appropriate use of the ACVR Mark should be directed to the Constitutional Review Committee Chair. Improper use of the ACVR Mark could be interpreted as professional misconduct and thus, could be grounds for disciplinary action by the American College of Veterinary Radiology.

The ACVR Mark may be used only for official college business by managerial and secretarial services under the direction of the ACVR Officers and Executive Council. It is available for download in the Council section.
