Locate an ACVR Radiologist or Radiation Oncologist in your area.
Signalment and History: Dog escaped from owner’s vacation cottage, and returned with superficial thoracic wounds. Later that day, patient became dyspneic, and had not improved by the following day.
Physical Examination: On presentation, patient was severely dyspneic and cyanotic. Lung sounds decreased dorsally. No significant chemistry or CBC abnormalities.
Images Provided: CT Exam; Thoracic radiographs prior to CT revealed a pneumothorax, emphysema of the external thoracic soft tissues and alveolar pattern in the ventral lungs.
