Signalment and History: 8 year old female Dromedary camel. Presented for evaluation of a firm mass on the mandible. The mass appeared with a sudden onset and has been present for approximately 4 months. The owner reports that on presentation the mass was 1/3 the size it had been previously and that it responded to SMZ-TMP treatment. Dana has a good appetite, is able to eat and drink adequately, and is fed free-choice cattle sweet feed.

Physical Examination and Clinical Data: A firm mass of the rostral third of the mandible was palpated. Bilateral symmetric firm swellings were apparent in the maxillae. Shifting leg lameness was observed as the patient ambulated. The remainder of the physical examination was unremarkable.
