- Purpose is to retrospectively stage a large series of canine nasal tumors to compare the accuracy of 4 staging methods, all relying on CT findings, in predicting event free and overall survival. (We are submitting 50 cases and are looking for at least another 150.)
- Further, to determine if tumor histology plays a role as a predictor, with or without considering tumor stage.
- Our objective is to evaluate the efficacy of carboplatin chemotherapy as an adjuvant therapy for the treatment of oral malignant melanoma and to determine if the addition of carboplatin improves disease free interval, increases time to disease progression or metastasis, or improves overall survival time compared to coarse fraction radiation therapy alone.
