Transition to Early View Service!

We are happy to announce that, effective immediately, Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound participates in Wiley-Blackwell’s Early View Service.  Early View articles are complete full-text articles published online in advance of their publication in the printed issue.  As such, articles are available to the community as soon as proof editing is complete, rather than having to wait for the next scheduled online publication of the print issue. Read More...

ACVR Newsletters!

Free Digital Radiography Supplement!

Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound has a Free Digital Radiography Supplement available to everyone. According to Dr. Wm. Tod Drost, Guest Editor, "This Supplemental issue is intended to help educate the veterinary community, from veterinary radiologists to private practice veterinarians, about digital radiography and the components associated with it." Please check it out if you are considering switching to digital radiography.

CT/MRI Case of the Month!

Members of the CT/MRI Society have contributed excellent cross-sectional imaging cases from their collections and practices. Cases created can be viewed with DICOM viewing software or through your web browser without additional software. Please see the new CT/MRI Society Case of the Month. The cases will be made available to CT/MRI Society Members initially, but will be available to others after 1 month.

Cases/Questions from the ACVR Certification Examinations!

Examples from the previous Radiology and Radiation Oncology Certifying Examinations are available for review in the Examination section. Flash videos of the ultrasound cases have been posted!

ACVR Imaging Guidelines!

The ACVR is in the process of making recommendations concerning digital radiography and imaging for the veterinary profession. The ACVR Digital Imaging Standards Committee (DISC) considered a broad outline of standards and recommendations that could be used to advise the veterinary profession. Visit the Guidelines section to see the newly adopted 'Resolution & DICOM Guidelines' and 'Teleradiology Guidelines'.
