The primary focus of RUSVM is the education of students whose goal it is to practice veterinary medicine in the United States. Scientific discovery is another focal point for the School. The Department of Clinical Sciences invites applications to join our Diagnostic Imaging clinical and teaching team. The caseload presented to our on-campus Community Practice is quite diverse, ranging from cats and dogs to exotic species. In addition, healthcare is provided to approximately 200 large animals that reside on campus. RUSVM is equipped with digital imaging and PACS systems. Workstations are positioned throughout the Community Practice for use by students, staff, and clinicians, in rounds or special procedures rooms. Ultrasound services are provided through the Community Practice. A recently completed Diagnostic Imaging student laboratory has fifty viewing workstations and an ultrasound unit.
