Description: The Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center of New England (VESCONE) located in Metro West Boston is seeking boarded and board eligible candidates for a position. Our 13,000 sq ft state-of- the art specialty referral hospital utilizes a range of diagnostic imaging modalities including film/digital radiography, ultrasound (GE logic), CT (GE scanner.) A Siemens, 1.0 Tesla MRI is slated for fall of 2009.
Our specialist team consists of a criticalist, 2 surgeons, internist, ophthalmologist, consulting cardiologist and a radiologist. We also work closely with 4 oncologists and a radiation oncologist from the New England Veterinary Oncology Group which is located in our facility. A consulting cardiologist is available to us several days/week.
VESCONE sees referrals from over 600 veterinary practices from all over New England. We are open 24/7 and have expertly trained support staff. We offer a continuing education program to our own staff, referring community on-site and to the public at various events throughout the area.
Full and part time positions are available.
