Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is seeking a third small animal radiologist to join our growing team. MassVet is a state of the art 29,000 ft2 hospital located 11 miles north of Boston. We provide 24 hour emergency and critical care in addition to specialty services in the fields of radiology, internal medicine, neurology, behavior, dermatology, cardiology, ophthalmology, surgery and physical therapy. A dedicated staff of 152 technicians and 28 client care representatives support our departments.
Our hospital is equipped with a Phillips 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner, a GE high speed CT, two Toshiba Aplio ultrasound machines, and Eklin DR radiography. We will be adding digital fluoroscopy in 2009. Duties will include performing ultrasound examinations, performing CT studies, performing MR studies, and reading films using 2.0 Megapixel Greyscale monitors and E-Film software. In addition, we recently launched an on-line radiology service which is growing rapidly and the candidate will be expected to participate in the growth of this service.
