We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced radiologist and offer a full-time position with an attractive financial package. We offer a diverse field of activity in a challenging environment within a dynamic multinational university.
Our Diagnostic Imaging staff is currently 14 persons, including 6 non-Boarded radiologists, two certified radiotechnicians, 3 technicians and 3 secretaries. Our equipment includes a 1.5T MR and a 16-slice CT unit. This year a modern fluoroscopy unit, including an anaesthesia induction and recovery room close-by, as well as two new sonography units were installed. The annual caseload is 10.000 patients, small animals mainly. Our image archive dates back to 1927. PACS was installed in 2008, making the entire archive retrievable, including CT from 1994 and MRI from 1997.
Applicants must hold a degree in veterinary medicine and should have completed a residency in veterinary diagnostic imaging (board eligible). The appointed candidate should have team skills as well as a strong personality. Reliability and willingness to share knowledge are expected. Their priority as Board-certified member of our team will be training radiologists for the diploma of the European Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging/American College of Veterinary Radiology examination. Fluent English is mandatory. Candidates, not speaking German, will not be underprevileged.
