The University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Sydney (UVTHS) and The University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Camden (UVTHC) have both undergone significant equipment upgrade and have state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that makes it one of the best equipped small and large animal hospitals in Australia. The Hospitals contain, 7th generation 16 slice CT, X-ray machines, digital (CR) radiography, ultrasound, scintigraphy, videoendoscopy and 2 low-field MRI machines all linked together with PACS and also connected to the Sydney campus.
We are seeking applications for a Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging to join a team of clinicians specialising in large and small animals. You will provide diagnostic imaging services and teach clinical services in the veterinary undergraduate program.

This is a unique opportunity to take on an important role within an AVMA-accredited veterinary teaching hospital, in one of the world’s most desirable cities. Working alongside specialists renowned for their work in veterinary sciences you will join a highly specialised imaging environment and have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. The person will be supported by a team of professionals headed up by Dr Mariano Makara and supported by residents and radiographers with advanced skills.
