Are you looking for a new challenge and a temporary break from your everyday surroundings? As the last of our veterinary school clinical facilities near completion we have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary diagnostic imager to join our team of enthusiastic educators for a 12 month period. We are seeking a veterinarian who is eligible to practice in South Australia (this would include UK graduates) and who has the experience, training and interest to teach diagnostic imaging to our senior veterinary students and to contribute to the delivery of our clinical services.

The School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, located on the beautiful Roseworthy Campus, offers a rural setting with easy access to the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills and coastal areas. It is located within easy commuting distance of a range of attractive living environments including the metropolitan centres to the south and rural centres to the north and east. The campus has a newly built Companion Animal Health Centre and Diagnostic Laboratory and the new Equine Health Centre will be completed in 2013, all offering excellent facilities. If you are chosen for this role you will have the opportunity to live on campus in our Academic housing with access to all facilities including a swimming pool and gym and at a very attractive rent. A year spent in Adelaide will allow you to experience a lifestyle rarely possible in most parts of Australia or the rest of the world.
Salary: Lecturer (Level B) $80,019-$95,024 per annum.
An employer superannuation contribution of 9% applies.
