FULL TIME LONG TERM POSITION

VETERINARY RADIOLOGY

The CHUV offers a complete array of imaging modalities (PACS, computed radiography/digital fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, 16-slice CT and 1.5T MRI) to serve a diverse multispecies clientele (companion animal, exotics, equine, food animal).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in clinical teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students (i.e. interns and residents) and service at the CHUV for 80 % of allocated time.
  • Participate in the diffusion of expertise in Diagnostic Imaging in collaboration with collegues and according to the interests of the candidate.
  • Participate in administrative tasks.
  • If required, participate in on-call duty.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DMV degree or equivalent.
  • Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI).  Board-eligible candidates will also be considered.
  • Must obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in the province of Quebec (Canada) issued by the Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec.
  • Candidates must be able to communicate in French or be willing to learn French.

SALARY:

  • The Université de Montréal offers a competitive salary and a full package of benefits.  Salary will be based on academic credentials, experience and the clinical instructor salary scale.  On-call duty is paid in addition to the regular salary, according to the rules of the CHUV of the Université de Montréal.
