The CHUV offers a complete array of imaging modalities (PACS, computed radiography/digital fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, 16-slice CT and 1.5T MRI) to serve a diverse multispecies clientele (companion animal, exotics, equine, food animal).
Participate in clinical teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students (i.e. interns and residents) and service at the CHUV for 80 % of allocated time.
Participate in the diffusion of expertise in Diagnostic Imaging in collaboration with collegues and according to the interests of the candidate.
Participate in administrative tasks.
If required, participate in on-call duty.
DMV degree or equivalent.
Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). Board-eligible candidates will also be considered.
Must obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in the province of Quebec (Canada) issued by the Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec.
Candidates must be able to communicate in French or be willing to learn French.
The Université de Montréal offers a competitive salary and a full package of benefits. Salary will be based on academic credentials, experience and the clinical instructor salary scale. On-call duty is paid in addition to the regular salary, according to the rules of the CHUV of the Université de Montréal.
