Faculty Position in Radiology

The Department of Veterinary Large Animal Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position in Radiology at the academic rank of assistant, associate or full professor, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials. A DVM/VMD or equivalent degree is required. Applicants must be board certified or have met the requirements to take the board exam of the American College of Veterinary Radiology or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. Applicants must meet requirements for special licensure in the State of Texas.

The academic home of faculty members in radiology is the Large Animal Clinical Sciences Department at Texas A&M University, but they provide medical imaging services for small, large and exotic animals. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research and contribute to the patient care and teaching missions of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Our state of the art on-site Diagnostic Imaging and Cancer Treatment Center houses a 3T Siemens Verio MRI and 40-slice Siemens CT in a facility designed to accommodate both small animals and horses.
