Demand for specialty care is extremely high in Western Pennsylvania, and our practice continues to grow! Anesthesiology, 24/7 emergency, and advanced imaging practices provide additional support, and PVSEC internship and residency programs and a proposed clinical trials partnership provide teaching and research opportunities. Membership in VSPA, a large, international group of similar multi-specialty hospitals, provides guidance and support from other hospitals with similar experiences.

We are looking for a talented, energetic, team player who will continue to grow and promote the radiation oncology practice through strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and interactions with clients, referring veterinarians, and other PVSEC specialties. Partnership/ownership opportunity exists for the qualified candidate. PVSEC offers competitive, commission-based compensation with a minimum guarantee, medical, dental, ophthalmic, and disability insurance, a 401K retirement plan with generous employer contribution, continuing education package, and relocation stipend. An emphasis is placed on development of a rewarding career that allows a sustainable, balanced lifestyle.

Pittsburgh yet remains a well-kept secret. It is a modest city of scenic hills, trees, rivers, and historical ethnic neighborhoods, yet is home to internationally-recognized fine arts and museums, nationally-ranked educational institutions, three professional sports teams, a zoo, an aquarium, the National Aviary, and a wide variety of family activities. Despite Pittsburgh’s big city offerings, rolling hills and farmland are within commuting distance, people are friendly, crime is low, schools and health care are excellent, outdoor recreational opportunities abound, and cost of living is very low. In fact, Pittsburgh is repeatedly ranked as the most livable city in the United States. (Download Places Rated Almanac 2007, Forbes Magazine 2010, Economic Intelligence Unit 2012 below).
