Description: Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists – Diagnostic Imaging is growing! We are currently seeking a board-certified veterinary radiologist with collaborative abilities to work in a stimulating and team-oriented environment. Located in the Houston metropolitan area, Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists is a 54,000ft2 private veterinary referral center with 24 board certified veterinary specialists in the fields of avian and exotics, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and surgery. We have over 100 dedicated animal care technicians supporting our practice. Full-service physical therapy facilities and a large emergency clinic are also located in the building.
Diagnostic imaging currently has two Eklin DR plates, three ultrasound machines (MyLab 80, Philips HD7, and Toshiba Aplio 80), 0.3T Hitachi MRP-7000 MR, a helical CT machine (GE Lightspeed QXi 4), Shimadzu fluoroscopy with CMT DSA, gamma camera integrated with Mirage software, digital teleradiology service, an active residency/ intern program, as well as a growing interventional radiology caseload.
