The University of Berlin seeks an enthusiastic and motivated specialist in Diagnostic Imaging to join the Clinic for Small Animals at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading the operation and future development of this discipline in the capital of Germany, in didactic and tutorial instruction in veterinary diagnostic imaging, clinical service and through independent and collaborative research.

Candidates must have a veterinary degree and be board certified by the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging / the American College of Veterinary Radiology, or have equivalent specialist qualifications. Candidates should have solid clinical experience and expertise in small animal diagnostic radiology and ultrasound; experience in CT, MRI and/or radiooncology are also highly valued. Clinical and scholarly activity might also include large animal imaging at the request of the candidate. Excellent collaborative opportunities are available at our Schools of Medicine in Berlin. The candidate should be German-speaking or interested to learn the German language.

On site imaging equipment includes newly equipped small (and large) animal digital radiography units, two ultrasound units, a multi-slice computer tomograph, a PACS system, and a radiation therapy facility. An MRI unit will be available in the near future.

The School of Veterinary Medicine is located in a pleasant community within easy reach of the city center by excellent public transportation. Berlin is a vibrant city of 3.5 million people with great opportunities for cultural and recreational activities.
