Locate an ACVR Radiologist or Radiation Oncologist in your area.
VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is seeking a board certified or residency trained Veterinary Radiologist to join our multi-disciplinary Specialty practice in beautiful Fishers, Indiana—located just outside of Indianapolis.
Do you want to be hands-on with your patients and prefer interacting with colleagues one on one rather than reading images from a computer all day? Although working from home in your pajamas has its perks, some people want a more integrated job. Wouldn’t it be nice to know you were right about that foreign body on the radiograph because you were called into surgery to see it removed? Wouldn't it be nice to hear from our Neurologist how the patient with a spinal tumor you found, handled surgery? Wouldn't it be nice to be the hero when our Oncologist asks you to get a fine needle aspirate of a difficult mass to visualize? Well, this is what you will get at our hospital!
The Advanced Veterinary Care Center already has an outpatient ultrasound and CT service, but we need someone who wants to take it to the next level. Our hospital has an outstanding referral base to jump start such an endeavor, plus you’ll be supported by specialists in Internal Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Surgery (orthopedic & soft tissue), Theriogenology, and Physical Rehabilitation. Your colleagues will include:
Our 30,000 sq. ft. facility is fully equipped with a 1.5 Tesla MRI, Helical CT, linear accelerator, fluoroscopy, two digital radiology rooms, two GE ultrasound units, full endoscopy equipment, hyperbaric oxygen chamber and a neurological electrodiagnostic machine—along with a full Rehabilitation service with two underwater treadmills. Additionally, we have a dedicated room for ultrasound and a separate room reserved for Radiology
