March 28, 2014 - June 26, 2014

Ithaca is Gorges!

Cornell University Hospital for Animals is seeking radiologists interested in locums during the remainder of 2014. Our dates are flexible except for a specific need during the ACVR meeting in October 2014. Our teaching hospital has a varied caseload and is well-equipped. Our team includes 3 board certified radiologists, 4 residents and 7 technicians.

The locum applicant:

  • Must be board certified or eligible for certification
  • Will be in charge of in-house small and large animal interpretation of radiographic, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine examinations, referral consultations, supervision of residents in ultrasound, resident training and student teaching in conjunction with other service members.

Appointments will be of 1-2 weeks or longer. Longer term part-time visitors that wish to maintain their teleradiology responsibilities will be considered. Travel and housing arrangements will be covered in addition to a weekly stipend.

The Finger Lakes region is lovely in the summer and fall with many unique outdoor activities. Cayuga Lake touches the town with all the expected recreational options. Our many waterfalls, gorges and parks offer unique and challenging hiking, mountain biking and fossil hunting adventures.

Enquiries may be directed to the Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences Dr. Margaret McEntee
