Dick White Referrals Specialist Small Animal Centre – Cambridgeshire

We seek to employ a board certified or ECVDI /ACVR board eligible radiologist to join our expanding team of three radiologists, 3 radiographers and a nurse assistant. The starting date is as soon as possible. Our centre, a leading small animal specialist referral centre, provides diagnostic imaging services in radiography (Agfa CR-35X system), fluoroscopy (Philips BV Endura C-arm), ultrasound (two Philips IU22 systems), 16 slice CT (Philips MX16EVO and dual injection system), MRI (Hitachi Aperto low field open magnet 0.4T) and Interventional Radiology for about 500 patients monthly (dogs and cats). We also provide Teleradiology services. All the modalities are linked to a PACS system.

Our centre provides services in anaesthesia, cardiology, clinical pathology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, interventional radiology, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, physiotherapy, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. We are committed to an exciting and high quality working environment with an interesting and varied caseload, amongst a twenty-strong team of specialists. We run residency programmes in various disciplines, including diagnostic imaging, and a quality internship programme in association with the University of Nottingham. We provide also a range of seminars, tutorials, practical’s, etc. to the veterinary community for their continuing professional development, and contribute publications in various scientific journals.

The remuneration of the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience and the salary scale of the other specialists.
