Dick White Referrals (DWR) Veterinary Specialist Centre invites applications for a locum in veterinary diagnostic imaging. This is a perfect opportunity for board-eligible residents preparing for oral boards, or for any radiologist who wants to experience a challenging caseload in a leading referral centre.

The position is available from 1 June to 31 September 2014, but consideration will also be given to applicants who are only available for part of this period.

We are located in an attractive English countryside, only 8 miles from the beautiful and vibrant city of Cambridge, and 1 hour from London.

Our Centre provides services in anaesthesia, cardiology, clinical pathology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, interventional radiology, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, physiotherapy, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.

We are a team of three radiologists, three radiographers, and an assistant imaging nurse, handling a caseload of over 500 cases per month. We provide services in radiography (incl. Agfa CR-35X system), fluoroscopy (Philips BV Endura C-arm), ultrasound (two Philips IU22 systems), 16-slice CT (Philips MX16EVO and dual power injection system), MRI (Hitachi Aperto 0.4T open magnet), interventional radiology and teleradiology.

The remuneration of the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience and the salary scales at DWR.
