Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist Wanted – Albany, NY
Upstate Veterinary Specialties, PLLC, is seeking applicants for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Veterinary Radiologist to join our team and expand high quality imaging services for our growing in-house caseload and our referral veterinarians. A full time position would include a base salary plus a percentage of gross, a 4 day work week (including a flexible amount of mobile work), generous benefit package, and buy-in potential for the right individual. Relocation allowance will be provided. A part-time position will also be considered.
Upstate Veterinary Specialties is a multispecialty referral practice located near Albany in the Capital District of upstate New York. We enjoy a dedicated and well established referral base and a cooperative work environment with a highly trained and compassionate support staff. The practice is located within the 14,000 sq ft Capital District Animal Emergency Clinic. We currently have specialists in Cardiology (2), Dermatology (1), Internal Medicine (2), Neurology (1), Ophthalmology (1), Radiology (1), and Surgery (2). Our full time radiologist currently provides imaging support services for our specialty caseload, which is expanding to 6 days a week. The radiologist also provides support for the in house emergency service and radiograph consults for referring veterinary hospitals. There is also a strong need to expand our services to include out-patient and mobile imaging services for our dedicated referral base. Equipment available on-site includes one digital radiology suite (Eklin/E-film) stationary and portable abdominal ultrasound units (Philips IE-33, ATL 5000 and GE Logiq-E), digital fluoroscopy (OEC 9600) and MRI (GE 1.0 T magnet).
