New CT/MRI Case of the Month!


Members of the CT/MRI Society have contributed excellent cross-sectional imaging cases from their collections and practices. Cases created in 2008 and later can be viewed through your web browser without additional software. Please see the new CT/MRI Society Case of the Month. The cases will be made available to CT/MRI Society Members initially, but will be available to others after 1 month starting with May 2008.

that you can view Archives for any ACVR Mailing List to which you belong by going to the ACVR Mailing List Administrative Console? This allows you to conveniently review ACVR announcements or case discussions by thread or subject. A link is also provided to any attached images. You must know your mailing list password to gain access (not the same as your ACVR ID and Password). If needed, you can request a reminder of your mailing list password for any list to which you belong using the administrative console.

ACVR Imaging Guidelines!


The ACVR is in the process of making recommendations concerning digital radiography and imaging for the veterinary profession. The ACVR Digital Imaging Standards Committee (DISC) considered a broad outline of standards and recommendations that could be used to advise the veterinary profession. Visit the Guidelines section to see the newly adopted 'Resolution & DICOM Guidelines' and 'Teleradiology Guidelines'.


Textbook of Veterinary Nuclear Medicine


svnm_bookThe "Textbook of Veterinary Nuclear Medicine", edited by Drs. Gregory B. Daniel and Clifford R. Berry, is now available for purchase in the Society of Veterinary Nuclear Medicine Store. The textbook covers small and large animals (limited) and the book's purpose is to advance the field of veterinary nuclear medicine by providing an instructional aid to those learning the subject as well as to serve as a reference text for those performing routine nuclear medicine studies. The textbook is 422 pages long and includes a CD with case materials on all of the topics covered within the book.
