University of Tennessee Nuclear Medicine Short Course

The annual University of Tennessee Nuclear Medicine Short Course will take place on March 30 - April 1, 2012. The course is intended as a general review of nuclear medicine. It will include: reviews of the basic principles of nuclear medicine and image processing, common nuclear medicine imaging procedures, interpretative principles and case examples. The course will focus on small animal nuclear medicine, with a brief review of equine nuclear medicine (specifically, bone scintigraphy).

Deadline for registration is February 3, 2012. Registration will be limited to a maximum of 32 participants to ensure an optimal learning experience in lectures and labs. A minimum of 20 participants is required; if registration is below this number on February 3, individuals will be informed of the cancellation of the course and registration refunds will be issued.
