2010 Image Interpretation Session - Case 3
Signalment: 7-year-old, male intact, Irish Setter
History: Hit by truck one day earlier.
Clinical findings: Wt. = 26.0 kg, T = 100.4 F, P = 120 bpm, RR = 30 rpm, BCS = 5/9, Pain Score = 3/5. Abdominal palpation was painful. Bruising and abrasions were present along the inguinal region and cranial to the prepuce. Frank blood was noted oozing from the prepuce. Numerous fleas were present all over his skin.
