Signalment: 8 year old, M (c), DSH, “Thunder”
History: The patient has a 2 week history of soft tissue swelling and alopecia of left rear hock. Alopecia also present on right rear hock. Pet had been outside a few days before the owner noticed any abnormalities. Pet was treated with antibiotic drops with no response or improvements after 1 week.
Other information: The patient is now non-weight bearing on left rear limb. Severe joint crepitus palpated during exam of left hock. The remainder of the physical exam is within normal limits.
Study Provided: Multiple orthogonal radiographs of the left pelvic limb and a lateral of the right pelvic limb.
