2005 Image Interpretation Session - Case 6

Signalment: 9 years old, FS, German Shepherd Dog

History: Left hindlimb weight bearing lameness has developed in the past two weeks, restless and appears uncomfortable, more lethargic for the past two months, appetite decreased last week but is normalizing.

Physical exam: Moderate weight bearing lameness of left pelvic limb, medial thickening of the left stifle, pain on palpation of left femur, decreased muscle mass of the left pelvic limb. Abdominal palpation reveals enlarged spleen and no abdominal pain

Laboratory data: rDVM: PCV: 50%, TP: 8.5, mini screen all normal (ALB: 3.02)
