Focus on Digital Radiography Forum: This is a one day seminar given on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. It is included in your meeting registration. You should register for this seminar only if you are not attending the remainder of the meeting. This seminar is open to everyone.

Veterinary MRI of the Nervous System Short Course

  • This course will provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to magnetic resonance imaging as applied to the nervous system in veterinary patients. 
  • Topics covered will include MR physics, the basis of forming an MR image, instrumentation, MR safety, MR in various disease states, and more. 
  • It is recommended that MR physics be reviewed before the course if possible.
  • Class size is limited to 90 people.

  • It is time to register for the 2008-EAVDI meeting in Svolvaer, Norway. The site is open for registration, booking, and submission of abstracts. 
  • The key note addresses and the resident day of the 2008 meeting will focus on the locomotor system of horses and small animals and cover the imaging modalities from radiography to MRI.
  • The scientific committee invites and encourages anyone wishing to submit an abstract for presentation or to present a poster to go to the meeting homepage where the link for submitting the abstracts can be found; or to go directly to http://www.vetrad.ch/eavdi/ and follow the instructions. The submission deadline is April 30th.
