As part of the continuing effort to support authors and editors, Wiley-Blackwell Publishing has developed an Author Services section on its web site. This new service allows authors to track accepted articles through the production process and onto print and online publication.
All articles accepted for production can be tracked online by the corresponding author. The author will receive an email when their accepted article has been submitted by the Editor for publication. The email will contain a URL link to the Author Services website and a unique ID for their article.
Once registered at that site, an author can request to have an email alert at any or all of the eight stages of production. The web site contains clear descriptions of the production stages from which to select.
